  • We were so lucky to have Tartan Paint play our wedding at Achnagairn on 22nd March. Alan, Rachel and Robert were very helpful in the run up to the big day and of course on the day itself. The dance floor was packed all night and they were brilliant at explaining the dances to guests who hadn’t been to a ceilidh before and knowing when to play a cover when people needed a bit of a rest. I had a few requests that I asked them to include in the night and they were more than willing to do so. Anyone who is considering booking them for their wedding - do it!! Thank you again guys

  • Tartan Paint played at our wedding 16th Feb 2025 and we couldn’t recommend them highly enough! From first contact Alan was helpful & courteous, we knew we were in safe hands. We got married at Eilean Donan Castle and had our reception at Duisdale House Hotel on the Isle of Skye, being English most of our guests (including ourselves!) were not really familiar with Ceilidh music but that didn’t matter - it was so much fun and the dance floor was full all night! They even played the music for musical statues and musical chairs to keep the kids (and their grownups 😂) entertained for a while! It was so much fun. Great music and great people - thank you for making our wedding even more memorable 🎶

  • Having scoured the internet for ceilidh bands in the north of Scotland, Tartan Paint were by far the best I had been able to find. I was beyond delighted when they were available on our wedding day. As avid fans of ceilidhs, finding the right band was very important for us. They did not disappoint, they were absolutely fantastic and had everyone up on the dance floor enjoying themselves (at times perhaps too much). We had guests from overseas who had never been to a ceilidh before and they all had an amazing time. Not to mention that they are all lovely people and were a delight to meet in person! Thanks guys for an awesome night! 🤘🏻💃🏻

  • Tartan Paint played at our wedding a few weeks ago and they were fantastic! We had the best time and spent the whole night dancing. Would highly recommend!

  • After having some great nights out together in Inverness, it was always Tartan Paint that we ended up dancing and singing along with and We knew we wanted them to be our wedding band. We met with Alan who gave us an idea of a rough run through of the evening but what these guys are so good at is reading the room and going with what the vibe is. we had ceilidh dancing and covers and then a DJ set for an hour at the end. We honestly loved it, the dance floor was always busy! Thank you Tartan Paint! Highly recommended!

  • Having been recommended Tartan Paint back in January 2023 I popped them a message and headed to the Highlander in Inverness, and I knew instantly they were to be my wedding band! Alan was extremely helpful throughout the planning stage and was on hand to answer any questions or queries I had! What a night we had, Tartan Paint were amazing! They were extremely patient while our guests learnt the Dances and kept us all right! Lots of our guests commented on just how good they were and just how much of great night they had dancing away to them! I honestly can’t recommend them enough and I can’t wait to see them again!!!

  • We saw Tartan Paint while celebrating our anniversary in Inverness and instantly agreed that they would make the perfect band for our wedding. Alan was incredibly helpful in planning our perfect day. It all went very well on the day and they were incredibly patient with us while we learnt the ceilidh dances. Everyone commented on how great the band was and we even had a fiddle player during the ceremony! Thanks again for being part of our special day and making it musically magnificent!

  • We booked Tartan Paint after having them recommended by family and also seeing them play a couple of times in the Highlander and we weren't disappointed! It was a smaller wedding but they managed to match the vibe and have people on the dance floor all the time! Would definitely recommend for a great mix of music too! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
